The Commercial team is involved in the day-to-day running of Apple Music. The team provides strategic support to Apple Music leadership team, with responsibilities including fiscal planning, executive projects, and marketplace analysis.

We are looking for a leader to join our exciting team. In this role, you will be responsible for owning revenue and subscription performance tracking across our large business.

We are looking for a leader to join our exciting team. In this role, you will be responsible for owning revenue and subscription performance tracking across our large business.

This role will own revenue forecast tracking and subscriber growth analytics for the Music Commercial team. Working cross-functionally with Finance and a broad set of internal stakeholders (data science, marketing, BD, growth marketing), they will monitor weekly subscription KPIs against the assumptions underpinning our revenue forecast, identify and explain drivers of variance, and feed updated assumptions back into the forecast. The role also include direct ownership of subscriber growth forecasting for incremental initiatives.

Minimum Qualifications

  • 3 to 5 years of experience in business planning, finance or management consulting role.

  • Demonstrated experience in revenue forecasting, KPI tracking and/or data visualization.

  • Experience in digital subscriptions and transactional businesses.

  • Ability to analyze and translate business trends and turn them into recommendations

  • Bachelor’s degree required.

  • You are deeply analytical, have excellent problem-solving skills, and have a passion for details

  • You are a talented communicator, and confident in presenting to senior executives.

  • You are highly collaborative, and capable of working across diverse teams and functions.

  • You are able to prioritize, manage timelines, and deal effectively with pressure.

  • You are able to build compelling slide presentations to help develop stakeholder buy-in.

  • You have a desire to work in a hands-on, high volume, fast paced, and changing environment

  • You have good understanding of digital subscriptions and transactional business
