Apple’s iPhone Hardware Team is searching for a resourceful, passionate and energetic Engineering Project Specialist (EPS) librarian to help manage development hardware and equipment requests. Preferred candidate is detail oriented, organized and a strategic problem solver who enjoys collaborating with SW and HW Engineers.

Description

Primary Responsibilities of this Engineering Project Specialist would include;

Managing key areas of iPhone engineering programs such as requesting and managing materials. Having the knowledge of differences between material type, build and configurations would be beneficial

Tracking, receiving, organizing and distributing material to engineering team.

Publishing expected material ETA’s and material on-hand associated with engineering builds

Managing equipment like oscilloscopes, digital multimeters, power supplies, used by engineering team: receiving, unpacking, entering equipment information into database, allocating and tracking.

Minimum Qualifications

  • BS/BA Degree or 3+ years of industry experience

  • Having an understanding of inventory management requirements

Preferred Qualifications

  • Strong organizational and analytical abilities

  • Ability to adjust priorities and manage time wisely

  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, coordinating priorities, and initiatives

  • Ability to complete tasks on time

  • Self starter and can work with ambiguity

  • Ability to work independently with minimum supervision

  • Proficient with Jira, iWork applications such Numbers or MS Excel

  • Must be able to lift 45lbs

  • Off-hour support may be needed via email and phone

  • Strong interpersonal and verbal/written/presentational skills

Pay & Benefits

At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $101,192 and $197,500 annualized, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
