Description
The Apple Software Update organization is responsible for the core technologies that keep Apple devices up to date on their system software and with other important functional data. The Asset Delivery team ensures that the data required for Software Updates, Apple Intelligence, Siri, and others can be downloaded to the device on-demand, the downloaded files are appropriate for the OS and device in question, and they can be used by the requesting clients. Minimum Qualifications
Experience troubleshooting unexpected software behaviors
People skills in order to communicate with your teammates and engineers to determine bug severity, escalate found issues, troubleshoot broken tests, or discuss competing work priorities
A love of learning complex concepts ad-hoc as they present themselves and immediately incorporating that learning into your day-to-day work
Basic exposure to coding in a relevant language such as Objective-C, Python, or Swift.
Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent work experience) in CS or Computer Engineering?
Preferred Qualifications
Experience filing actionable bugs and driving them to fixes with engineering teams
Proficient at coding in a relevant language such as Objective-C, Python, or Swift.
Prior experience working with automated testing systems and triaging test results
