APPLE PAYMENTS SERVICES LLC has the following available in New York, New York. APPLE PAYMENTS SERVICES LLC is a subsidiary of Apple Inc. Manage onboarding flow for Apple Pay Savings by designing and building APIs with cross-functional teams. Design and build restful APIs for Apple Savings and Apple Card. Design enhanced Apple Pay transfer flow to maintain an intuitive user experience and in-sync transfer state during system failure scenarios. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to functionally test new features, identify product design or system bugs, and devise performant solutions. Dive deep to resolve Apple Card and Savings product error scenarios that result from corner cases and system failures. Write clean and maintainable code and unit tests using Java, Spring Framework, utilizing Oracle for database and Kafka Message Queue for asynchronous processing. Handle design and technical walk throughs with the teams. Independently analyze and resolve large, high impact and complex problems by implementing long-term solutions. Monitor production systems and use logging tools such as Splunk, which helps in detecting errors. Design and develop the backend for Apple Pay. 40 hours/week. At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $147,400 - $220,900/yr and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related field.

  • Experience and/or education must include the following:

  • Using coding frameworks similar to Spring to build the back end for applications and products.

  • Using database system to persist data.

  • Using logging tools similar to Splunk to log appropriate details to help debug during issues.

  • Using programming languages (Java or similar) to build servers.

  • Using event driven architecture to build systems that are highly scalable and extensible.

  • Working with build pipelines to get code from development to production.

  • Using test driven development to ensure that features being developed match product requirements.
