This is a hybrid role that will require you to be on site at our Mettawa, IL location three days per week

The Marketing Manager (MM)for Venclexta designs, develops, and implements the commercial plans and materials needed to drive market performance in an increasingly competitive landscape with a key focus on the Health Care Provider (HCP). The MM works closely with multiple commercial and cross-functional departments to ensure success in the strategic execution of tactics (including both pan-Brand and select indication-level tactics). The MM will seek new and innovative ways to differentiate and elevate execution. They will foster positive working relationships with the sales force, medical affairs, market research, sales training, regulatory, and other cross franchise and alliance marketing teams. The MM will also partner closely with a co-promote company to jointly drive performance. While the MM does not have direct reports, they must demonstrate the ability to lead without authority and build a collaborative and integrated working team environment.
Key Responsibilities Include:
Support and participate in the development of strategic brand plan
Develop, execute and monitor tactics that align to the strategic brand plan for HCPs
Maximize launch execution success, partnering closely with Sales and Medical
Diligent project and budget planning and tracking
Diverse mix of personal and non-personal promotion, based on current business need
Monitor and analyze all sources of company and industry sales and marketing data
Proactively support the sales force through ongoing communication, as well as through development and implementation of effective selling materials
Conduct routine field travel with the sales force to better understand market drivers and dynamics and to “get in the shoes” of our consumers and health care providers.
Manage internal/external networks, consultants, and agency partners.
Continually evaluate the effectiveness of marketing plans and recommend changes in strategy or tactics as appropriate.
Participate in Market Research as appropriate.
Qualifications
Significant pharmaceutical experience (5+ years)
Brand marketing experience with a focus on the HCP customer
Independently driven with high problem-solving and strategic planning skills
3-5 years of experience in leading independent projects.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Concept of budget development and management for marketing programs and tactics.
Bachelor's Degree
Strong collaboration, communication and team orientation.
Strong analytics with excellent overall business acumen including budget planning and management.
Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams and influencing matrix partners.
Leadership and communication skills.
Ability to foster connections with cross-functional and external partners.
Demonstrated ability to operate quickly and decisively in a fast-paced, matrixed, and demanding environment.
Preferred:
Previous experience in Hematology-Oncology
Brand marketing and launch experience in pharmaceutical marketing or sales
Pharmaceutical Sales experience
Previous experience working in a joint venture commercial partnership
Strong presentation experience and proficient PowerPoint skills.
Experience working with and managing multiple external agencies
Talent will be hired at a level commensurate with experience.

The compensation range described below is the range of possible base pay compensation that the Company believes in good faith it will pay for this role at the time of this posting based on the job grade for this position. Individual compensation paid within this range will depend on many factors including geographic location, and we may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future. ?
