Description

APPLE INC has the following available in Seattle, Washington. Find opportunities for new features for Siri in customer data by writing queries and using data analysis skills. Conduct evaluation and computing of various metrics for several tasks and datasets using Python. Machine learning is used to build, evaluate, and test models for natural language and speech tasks. Design and build architecture for projects using best software engineering practices/guidelines. Build end-to-end prototypes for new experiences using software engineering skills to develop code for devices such as iPhones and iPads. Collaborate with cross-functional partners to gather requirements, understand dependencies, define an architecture, and implement solutions to well-defined projects. Collaborate with engineers to bring changes in production to customers. A wide range of software engineering tasks across multiple domain areas. Work on Machine learning projects involving state-of-the-art modeling techniques. Work with multiple teams across the organization to gain a broad understanding of the Siri architecture. 8% Domestic Travel required. 40 hours/week. At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $145,611 - $204,000/yr and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Data Science, Computer Science or related field.

  • Education and/or Experience must include each of the following skills:

  • Applying big data methodologies such as MapReduce, Elasticsearch, and Kibana for data preprocessing, analysis, and visualization.

  • Utilizing SQL for data querying, manipulation, and database management, with hands-on experience in platforms like AWS RDS.

  • Utilizing Java for developing robust and scalable backend systems.

  • Leveraging PyTorch for building, training, and fine-tuning deep neural networks.

  • Utilizing JavaScript, CSS, and HTML for frontend development.

  • Experience in Android app development, showcasing the ability to design and implement backend and front-end functionalities for mobile applications.

  • Utilizing MATLAB for prototyping and implementing algorithms for signal processing and image analysis tasks in machine learning.
