The Network and Acquirer Solutions (NAS) team is at the heart of American Express—powering millions of transactions through our global payments processing network, which we develop and grow. NAS represents an outstanding opportunity within American Express. We work across almost every business unit within the organization as well as establish relationships with external partners, providers, and key industry representatives. As an Associate of Digital Product Operations on the Network Partner and Product Enablement team, you will be responsible for the onboarding and certifying of new & existing customers to American Express payment products and issuer personalization infrastructures. These may include, but are not limit to: magstripe, EMV chip contact, contactless and dual interface cards and other form factors, Mobile and HCE, including Trusted Service Managers (TSM), Secure Elements (SE), handsets, HCE applets and cloud solutions. These activities ensure that a partner is validated for their related product and industrialization certification, as well as it ensures that they are following the documented EMV & AMEX specifications. The successful candidate will also provide needed overviews to American Express NAS network products, capabilities and policies to external and internal customers which help our partners benefit from our product suite to grow their business!
Responsibilities
Must have hands-on testing experience with at least one PVT (Personalization Validation Tool) widely used in the market, EMV profile generation, and creation of test profiles and be able to demonstrate this during the interview process
Performing Level 3 personalization certification projects for EMV Cards & Mobile Wallets.
Performing industrialization certification projects.
Strong knowledge of EMV Level 2/3, including specification, consultancy and troubleshooting of related activities.
Support the testing and deployment of the personalization certification web based applications and tools.
Develop and maintain relationships with multiple internal customers, to ensure a proactive understanding of the certification and deployment process.
Support and provide consultancy to our external customers about our certification processes and tools.
Support the upgrade of our personalization tools, processes, and documentation whenever changes are required by regulation, new product launches, and developments in the industry.
Ensure efficient process controls, and governance.
Qualifications & Attributes
Spanish language is must, as this position is supporting the Latin American markets.
Knowledge of payment / card industry technology. Preferred knowledge of American Express Network products.
Can readily understand the EMV & Amex specifications, decipher the contents and use that knowledge to enhance and expedite the personalization certification & processes. Can independently identify root causes that can arise during certification & resolve them.
Strong analytical & problem-solving skills with an ability to interpret trends and assist in resolving issues.
Positive relationship management and collaboration skills to influence without authority, both internally and externally, across multiple international territories, and with different cultural considerations.
Flexibility and resilience to operate within a fast paced and dynamic environment and prioritize multiple projects simultaneously.
Must be able to communicate effectively with external business partners and internal teams. Proven oral and written communication skills.
Ability to recognize opportunities for process improvements and to lead taking them forward.
Self-motivated, with growth mindset, and results driven oriented. Must have the ability to work without supervision in a matrix organization, demonstrating strong teamwork.
Qualifications
Salary Range: $60,000.00 to $110,000.00 annually bonus benefits
