American Express Global Commercial Services (GCS) is the leading payments provider for businesses and corporations of all sizes, with small business being the largest customer segment and a continued area of investment and focus. The Marketing Strategy & Content team is responsible for producing and informing compelling, insight-driven marketing that cohesively showcases the holistic value of American Express to business customers. We do this by deepening B2B brand engagement, enabling exceptional marketing, and delivering breakthrough go-to-market strategies.
The Senior Analyst, Content Marketing Performance & Analytics is a critical marketing role that owns all B2B content measurement and data analysis. This person is an expert in measurement and reporting, leading in quantifying the value of our GCS content marketing platform.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage and analyze large sets of data, with strong Excel skills and expertise in spreadsheets, charts, and data visualizations.
Own curation of B2B Content Marketing scorecards and holistic performance reporting.
Provide synthesized recommendations on platform optimizations, based on the data signals.
Lead distillation of B2B Content Marketing Class performance reporting, on a monthly and ad hoc basis (via meetings, emails, leadership updates, etc.).
Understand and use marketing & media measurement language to confidently deliver insights to inform decision making.
Serve as the Team Budget Captain, maintain budget tracking, and handle all funding submission requests.
Minimum Qualifications:
High proficiency in Microsoft Office – particularly Excel.
Strong project management skills, with proficiency in data analysis and an eye for detail.
Experience in digital and/or performance marketing measurement with proven ability to initiate and drive projects forward.
Data-centric marketer capable of analyzing disparate data and delivering holistic reporting that drives strategic decisions.
Critical thinker with the ability to evolve marketing strategy based on data and insights. Strong storytelling skills to help articulate our programs’ incremental value.
Ability to build positive relationships and influence across multiple cross-functional partners.
Passion for innovation and continuous improvement, able to translate best practices from across the company and the external landscape into winning ideas.
Qualifications
Salary Range: $55,000.00 to $105,000.00 annually bonus benefits
