GBS Finance team is looking for a Projects and Data Lead within their Order to Cash Consumer Receivables Team. This position is for the Austin, TX campus.

Responsibilities
Lead the reconciliation of AMR credit card transactions to ensure timely, accurate financial reporting and proactive resolution of customer fallout.
Serve as a liaison with non-Finance partners to diagnose root causes of exceptions and recommend upstream enhancements that eliminate recurring issues.
Champion the streamlining and automation of reconciliation workflows and reporting systems, paving the way for scalable, future-ready operations.
Collaborate with global peers to share insights, adopt best practices, and unify processes across regions.
Participate in high-visibility customer facing projects that shape user experience and promote operational excellence. Partner with O2C GPAs throughout the project life cycle, contributing to business requirement documentation, user acceptance testing (UAT), and production validation test.
Prepare balance sheet account reconciliations and journal vouchers (JVs), and present account overview to corporate accounting on an ad hoc basis.
Support external audit requests and execute on quarterly SLAs.
Minimum Qualifications
5+ years of relevant experience in a finance or data analytics role.
Advanced Excel modeling skills, with a proven ability to distill complex data into simple, comprehensive financial models.
Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Data Science, or a related field.
Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau) and programming languages (e.g., Python, R).
Preferred Qualifications
Consistent track record of driving operational excellence and consistently delivering superior results while maintaining a high standard of internal control
Demonstrated ability to effectively partner with key business stakeholders, and influence positive change
Strong finance and business sense, ability to quickly learn, understand and converse around key business issues
Strong process and data analysis skills with the ability to translate analytics into actionable business insights
Experience in business process re-engineering and innovative technology solution implementations
Ability to work in a high volume environment with stringent deadlines
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills with a natural ability to connect with people at multiple levels of the organization
Hands-on experience with SQL for data manipulation and analysis.
Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau) and programming languages (e.g., Python, R).
Knowledge of GAAP, SOX, reconciliation, general ledger, finance and accounting processes
