Job Description
Role Number: 200661130-0836
Summary
Imagine what you could do here. At Apple, new ideas have a way of becoming great products, services, and customer experiences very quickly. Bring passion and dedication to your job and there's no telling what you could accomplish! We are looking for a transformational leader to help shape the financial future of one of the world's most dynamic and influential companies.
This is a rare opportunity to sit at the intersection of finance, technology, and innovation. As a Finance Transformation Manager, you won't just oversee programs — you'll lead a team of high-performing Program Managers to architect the financial infrastructure that powers a complex, global business ecosystem. You'll drive high-impact, large-scale, cross-functional initiatives that modernize how the Finance organization operates at scale, with a particular focus on Treasury and Corporate Tax transformation.
Description
A core part of this role is championing the "why" — building compelling, rigorous business cases that articulate the value and strategic rationale for investing in transformation in specific areas, and ensuring your team of Program Managers delivers against those business cases with discipline and accountability. You'll set the standard for best-in-class process analysis and program management practices, and ensure the team communicates roadmaps and strategy with clarity and conviction at all levels of the organisation — including presenting to CFO staff.
The ideal candidate brings a strong foundation in treasury and/or tax, combined with a proven ability to lead and deliver large-scale transformation programs. You'll partner closely with product managers, delivery leads, EPMs, engineering leads, business partners, and engineers across the company, driving the adoption of next-generation technologies — including Generative AI — to unlock smarter, faster, and more resilient financial operations. If you thrive in complex, ambiguous environments and want your work to have a direct impact on one of the world's most influential companies, this is your role.
Minimum Qualifications
10+ years of progressive experience leading complex, large-scale finance transformation or program management initiatives at an enterprise scale.
7+ years of Product/Program Management experience within Enterprise, FinTech, SaaS, or AI focused organizations.
Proven track record delivering large-scale financial system implementations across enterprise finance functions.
Background in treasury and/or tax, with the ability to apply that expertise to the design and execution of finance transformation programs.
Experience managing, mentoring, and developing a team of direct reports or program managers across multiple concurrent large-scale initiatives.
BS/BA degree in Computer Science, Business, Finance, or a related field.
Preferred Qualifications
Deep knowledge of treasury operations (cash management, liquidity, FX, intercompany) and/or tax (direct/indirect tax, transfer pricing, tax provisioning) and how these intersect with ERP system design and broader finance transformation.
Demonstrated experience leading large-scale, multi-year cross-functional programs from discovery through deployment across complex, matrixed organizations.
Demonstrated ability to influence senior engineering, business, and finance leaders within a matrixed organization.
Proficiency with ERP systems (e.g., SAP), automation platforms, and data visualization tools applied to financial operations and transformation programs.
Formal project or program management qualification such as PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent, demonstrating a structured approach to delivering complex, large-scale initiatives.
Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field; an advanced degree (e.g., MBA, MSc Finance) or professional accounting qualification (e.g., CPA, ACA, ACCA, CIMA) is a plus.
Background or coursework in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related technical discipline, with an appreciation for how technology platforms, data architecture, and software development intersect with finance transformation.
Hands-on experience with program management tools and methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall, hybrid frameworks) applied to enterprise-scale finance or technology programs.
Exceptional communication and executive presentation skills, including experience presenting complex programs, business cases, and strategic roadmaps to CFO-level staff and senior leadership.
Comfort navigating ambiguity; a proactive problem-solver who drives issues to resolution with or without complete information.
Intellectual curiosity and a continuous improvement mindset, always seeking smarter, more scalable ways to operate.
