ETL Tech Lead Whippany, NJ As a Barclays ETL Tech Lead, you will be involved producing end to end Data Warehouse products including working on tasks such as requirements gathering, architecting the schema objects, building the application’s objects and creating a finished Data fabric product. You will also be expected to showcase the solution to the business. What will you be doing?

• Designing software modifications from supplied requirements and design specifications achieving well-engineered results that follow implementation level software architectures • Taking responsibility for the design, coding, testing, and documentation, via the software development lifecycle, of particularly large, complex or mission critical software programs • Assuming ownership of various initiatives across Solutions Delivery and/or Barclays’ Technology Group, as agreed, with the Team Lead for a complete and successful delivery • Working in an agile team participating in all agile ceremonies and using your expertise to assist delivery team members while collaborating within Barclays’ Technology Group • Providing issue response and root cause analysis on work assigned by Team Lead and Project Lead • Planning, designing and conducting Unit and System Integration Tests, correcting errors and re-testing to deliver an error-free product • Reacting quickly and as necessary to live software errors and service problems, limiting downtime and resolving the problem during project handover • Providing expert guidance and assistance to colleagues in any aspect of software design, creation, testing, and documentation

What we’ re looking for:

• Experience in designing & developing enterprise applications using database tools (Oracle, Hadoop), ETL Tools (AB Initio, DataStage), scheduling tools (TWS, Control-M) & AWS • Five+ years’ experience in software development using ETL tools • Strong database skills including database design, development (packages, functions, procedures) and database code performance tuning skills • Strong data warehousing and OLTP system knowledge from database ETL/development perspective

Skills that will help you succeed in the role:

• Banking /Credit card experience is a plus • Strong analytical and SQL skills and ability to work with the business to understand requirements and create design mock-ups • Excellent communication skills with immense attention to detail • Ability to learn quickly and adapt to changing technologies
