Description
APPLE INC has the following available in Cupertino, California and various unanticipated locations throughout the USA. Analyze and define Maps data and sourcing channel needs using propriety Tableau based tools to understand coverage need, potential impact of prospecting partners and align with feature roadmap for US, CA and Latin America. Create and roll out strategies for sourcing and managing data acquisition for Apple Maps products by identifying gaps in the database, applying advanced AI based market research throughout relevant markets and identifying potential targets and prioritizing them. Develop go-to-market plans and evangelize new business, product and technical programs. Drive high awareness and adoption of Maps data sourcing and management tools in the Americas by building impact reports for the executive management suite. Identify, build and manage a partnership ecosystem with hundreds of local data providers in the Americas. Work with Business Development, Finance and Legal to help negotiate and execute key data licensing agreements. Define, track, and report on achieved and planned data quality and coverage targets in the Americas. Manage project schedules, scope, and deliverables. 2% national or international travel required. 40 hours/week. At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $179,000 - $269,100/yr and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.

Minimum Qualifications
Master's degree or foreign equivalent in Geographical Information Systems or related field and 5 years of experience in the job offered or related occupation.
5 years of experience with each of the following skills is required:
Utilizing Tableau based analytics to create processing strategies .
Driving adoption of data sourcing and management tools using Kanban analytic solutions.
Identifying, building and managing a partnership ecosystem with data providers, globally
GIS industry experience negotiating and executing data licensing agreements.
Researching, analyzing and defining maps business location data goals and needs in North America, South America, Middle East and Asia Pacific countries.
Developing strategies for new data providers to acquire business location data for maps products in these countries.
Leading ongoing efforts to research, identify, qualify, evaluate, and negotiate new business location data licenses in these countries.
Leading the ongoing process and communications with each business location data provider.
Leading the post license management process.
Collaborating with Legal and Finance teams to execute data licensing agreements, and to meet and report against budget requirements.
Defining, tracking, and reporting on planned and achieved data quality and coverage targets.
