Description
APPLE INC has the following available in San Diego, California. Develop tests, tools, and frameworks to test watchOS software functionality and reliability. Assist with automating robust, highly reliable and complex test cases for all Apple Watch Software features covering productivity, health apps, BT/WiFi transport technologies and more. Support and maintain Python automation tests. Build out test automation in Swift/ XCTest. Define and scope black box automation tests in collaboration with Manual QA and SW Product Developers. Build out automation framework, models, objects, views. Build out functional UI automation functional tests for various stages of the build process. Build out end-to-end UI reliability automation tests. Build out performance test automation tests. Triage automation failures. Escalate product issues and drive to resolution. Train cross-functional teams on automation tool usage. Provide reports on automation tests and product stability. 40 hours/week. At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $155,436 - $195,200/yr and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.

Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related field and 1 year of experience in the job offered or related occupation.
1 year of experience with each of the following:
Use Software QA methodologies to collaborate with Software QA Points of contact to to develop automation strategies for assigned areas
Use Software Automation Development and core Computer Science fundamentals to assist in architectural design reviews of the automation framework
Use Python language to maintain existing automation test
Use Swift language to dive deeper into Software Product code and enhance automation capability and stability
Utilizing XCTest Framework to develop and grow new automation tests
Utilizing XCode or any comparable IDE to develop automation code
Utilizing Git or Stash to store code in a shared project repository
