How will you make an impact in this role?

Global Commercial Services (GCS) is the leading payments provider for businesses and corporations of all sizes, with small business being the largest customer segment and a continued area of investment and focus. The Small Business Marketing Team is responsible for acquisition and customer engagement marketing for all Small Business Charge, Proprietary Lending and co-brand cards.

The Partner Marketing team is passionate about creating and driving strategies to engage and convert small business customers through our co-brand partnerships. The Director of Hilton Cobrand Marketing will be the marketing leader for the Hilton small business credit card portfolio and is responsible for the holistic marketing strategy across American Express proprietary and partner channels, including end-to-end execution.

They will also be responsible for leading and collaborating with internal and external partners including Hilton, Consumer Partner Marketing, GCS Product, Analytics, Risk, Strategic Partnerships, Finance, and more. Some travel needed – up to 10% - exact cadence of Partner interactions to be determined.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage all acquisition and customer marketing on the Hilton small business card

  • Develop a comprehensive marketing strategy across American Express proprietary and Hilton channels, including end-to-end execution in partner channels

  • Determine strategy and obtain alignment to improve small business targeting efforts

  • Understand channel level dynamics and external shifts in the landscape to drive performance

  • Own monthly and annual channel-level forecasts

  • Develop a deep understanding of the hospitality industry to enable successful growth, including operations, marketing channels, and economic fundamentals

  • Play lead role in supporting partner renewal/expansion opportunities

  • Lead and develop a team of 5 colleagues

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 6 years of experience across Marketing, Product, or Partnerships

  • Excellent relationship management skills, with ability to influence across all levels of an organization

  • Exceptional People Leader who can empower and coach a team to succeed and push the envelope

  • Proven ability to meet performance goals and adjust if need to turn around performance

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in Acquisition Marketing

  • Ability to build multi-year plans and gain buy-in on vision across internal and external partners

  • Superior communication skills

Qualifications

Salary Range: $123,000.00 to $215,250.00 annually bonus equity (if applicable) benefits
