Description

The Advanced Manufacturing Engineer will be responsible for developing and implementing cutting-edge manufacturing processes for Apple's next-generation Audio products. This role requires an experienced leader who can drive manufacturing automation innovation from concept to mass production, ensuring the highest standards of quality, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness. You will be instrumental in bridging design and manufacturing, pushing the boundaries of what's possible in advanced manufacturing.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Robotics/Automation Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.

  • 5+ years of experience in manufacturing engineering

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master’s degree or greater in a relevant engineering discipline.

  • Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles and Six Sigma methodologies.

  • Experience in adhesive dispensing, Automated Optical Inspection (AOI), fastening, metal and plastic welding, high-speed pick and placing, automated flex handling, packaging, and other automated assembly processes.

  • Experience working with international manufacturing partners and supply chains.

  • Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, NX) and simulation tools.
