Description
APPLE INC has the following available in Cupertino, California and various unanticipated locations throughout the USA. Engineer new and innovative Persona features and enhance existing features to the next level bringing customers a seamless and enriching way to capture their likeness. Brainstorm, prototype, code, debug, ship, and address customer feedback to extend the unique capabilities that Persona brings to Apple customers. Collaborate with the Persona team, visionOS application and framework teams, and Apple’s Human Interface group to create delightful and empowering user experiences for customers. Implement new software engineering products and features that take advantage of the unique augmented reality capabilities of Vision Pro. Prototype software engineering features on Apple software and hardware that enhance the user experience and tie together in a cohesive strategy for Persona across Apple’s software platforms. Design user interface concepts and experiences with a goal of turning them into code of the highest and most sustainable quality to keep the features working into the future. Maintain high quality of code by implementing, engineering, testing and validation strategies and systems by leveraging our proprietary unit testing framework and infrastructure. Collaborate with partner teams including design system software and drive cross functional efforts between teams in user interface, 3D rendering, ML model generation and other partner teams across Apple’s platforms. Contribute to architecture discussions and engineering designs to drive high quality architectures that allow Apple to remain agile and deliver compelling features for customers into the future. 40 hours/week. At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $147,713 - $214,500/yr and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.

Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science or related field.
Experience and/or education must include:
Using computer programming languages to develop software applications and subsystems using Swift, Java, Python, Numpy, or Scikit.
Software operating system architecture, including memory management, concurrency, networking, and graphics rendering
Developing software algorithms, including algorithms for sorting and filtering
Big-O notation
Using software testing tools and processes, including XCTest framework or JUnit
Using source code management tools, including Git or Bitbucket
Using debugging tools to triage and investigate software defects, such as LLDB, JDB, or PDB
Working with file systems to store and manage software assets including image files, databases, graphics files
Working with user interface development frameworks, including Swift UI, UIKit, or Angular
