The Design and Delivery Interactive team is part of Apple Marcom and supports, extends, and amplifies the design for Apple Worldwide marketing platforms. This includes the shopping and buying experiences of Apple products, software, and services on its digital channels — places like apple.com, Apple Store App, Apple Store Online, channel retailers, seasonal moments, and new product initiatives. We partner with teams across the company to scale and deliver outstanding commerce experiences that brings the magic of Apple to every touchpoint in the customer experience.
Description
The Senior Designer for the Design and Delivery team is responsible for creating elegant and effective customer experiences across a range of channels, such as partner websites, direct mail, and various digital and in-store marketing initiatives. This role involves close collaboration with creative and technical teams, as well as the Interactive Design and Delivery team based in Austin, TX.
Minimum Qualifications
7+ years of experience specializing in visual design for the web, mobile and/or iOS app design.
Proven industry experience in a marketing or e-commerce design environment.
An online portfolio of original work demonstrating experience with e-commerce, user-centered design, and a strong visual aesthetic.
High proficiency in the formal elements of design, including typography, layout, balance, proportion, rhythm, emphasis, and unity.
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
Preferred Qualifications
Strong understanding of web and app development principles, including HTML, CSS, and iOS technologies.
Deep understanding of the brand voice, aesthetic, and tone.
Proficient in Photoshop and Sketch, with experience in organizing files for design iteration, setting up files for web and app production, and adhering to graphic design standards.
Ability to thrive in a challenging, fast-paced, creative workplace, delivering high-quality design quickly.
Excellent presentation skills with the ability to clearly articulate ideas to creative and technical audiences.
Ability to take a campaign identity or style guide and scale it across interactive touchpoints, as well as build new ideas around it.
