We’re looking for an experienced front-end web developer to build and deliver world-class email and web communications to Apple team members.

Description

As a front-end web developer, you’ll work closely with corporate communications peers and cross-functional partners across Apple to develop and publish internal communications, using a variety of software and CMS platforms.

The ideal candidate will have experience coding, building and publishing email and web content, and demonstrate strong organizational and problem solving skills to effectively plan, prioritize, build, prep/test, troubleshoot and execute communications campaigns and tactics in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment with time-sensitive deadlines.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience developing and publishing modern, responsive, graphical, highly stylized, cross-browser and mobile device-compatible websites and emails

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field (or equivalent experience)

  • Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with JavaScript libraries such as jQuery, Bootstrap, React or Angular

  • Experience with CRMs or bulk email systems

  • Experience delivering complex, international, large-scale, time-critical projects

  • Experience with cross-browser and mobile device compatibility testing

  • Understanding of user interface and user experience (UI/UX) design

  • Experience turning wireframes and mock-ups into reusable responsive code

  • Experience building high-quality visual emails, pages and articles viewable on a range of devices

  • Experience with SQL, other database query logic, and/or proficiency with Numbers/Microsoft Excel

  • Portfolio of previous work (samples, mockups, etc.)

  • Basic understanding of web design and graphic design tools

Pay & Benefits

At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $115,100 and $173,300, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
