Apple’s ADL is actively seeking a CNC Machine Setup / Operator to join our team. This role entails preparing materials, setting up CNC machines, completing secondary operations such as assembly and polishing, and conducting thorough spot checks on finished components, all while ensuring adherence to stringent quality and safety standards.

Description

As a CNC Machine Setup / Operator, you will be responsible for prepping materials, operating CNC and manual machines, post-processing, and working with your team to manufacture parts according to specifications. You will work closely with senior Model Makers to learn and develop your skills in a fast-paced environment. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to start a career in manufacturing and CNC machining.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Excellent problem-solving and interpersonal skills.

  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow written and verbal instructions.

  • Willingness to learn and grow within the CNC industry.

  • Strong work ethic, communication skills, and multitasking ability.

  • Ability to follow all safety protocols.

  • Ability to lift 30 lbs.

  • High school diploma or GED (required).

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a machining environment is a plus.

  • Adept at working with a variety of prototype materials, including steels, aluminum, and plastics.

  • Ability to closely monitor machine operations and make adjustments as necessary to maintain dimensional spec and quality.

  • Ability to validate critical features and dimensions using hand measuring tools.
