Bunzl is seeking a Revenue Director to lead a high-performing team of 3-5 Profitability Financial Analysts. This role is pivotal in shaping the financial strategy and long-term profitability across our sales and sourcing organizations.

As the Revenue Director , you will serve as a strategic partner to senior sales leadership, category management and sourcing teams. Your team will provide financial insights and strategic direction to optimize pricing, margin, and revenue performance. You will play a critical role in shaping the future of Bunzl’s revenue strategy and ensuring long-term financial success.

In this position, you will be responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive profitability strategy, optimizing margin performance, and identifying opportunities for sustainable growth. The ideal candidate will bring a blend of financial acumen, strategic thinking, and strong people leadership to foster a culture of excellence, innovation and growth.

Ideal candidates will sit in our St. Louis, MO office (we may consider INTERNAL applicants working out of other HUB locations), in office, day shift, M-F with some flexibility to work from home 1-2 days per month.

Responsibilities:

Team Management & Development

  • Lead, coach, and develop a team of Profitability Financial Analysts aligned to key sales segments (e.g., Grocery, Hospitality, Retail).

  • Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

  • Set clear performance goals and provide regular feedback and development opportunities.

Strategic Leadership

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive sales revenue strategy aligned with corporate goals.

  • Lead pricing and margin optimization initiatives across multiple business segments.

  • Partner with executive leadership to evaluate new business models, product transitions, and customer profitability.

Stakeholder Engagement

  • Serve as a trusted advisor to senior sales leaders, category managers, and sourcing teams.

  • Collaborate cross-functionally to support strategic initiatives, business case development, and pricing governance.

  • Present financial insights and recommendations to executive stakeholders with clarity and confidence.

Financial Analysis & Reporting

  • Oversee the development of financial models, forecasts, and profitability analyses.

  • Ensure accurate and timely reporting of key performance indicators (KPIs) and margin trends.

  • Guide the team in evaluating pricing scenarios, rebate structures, and customer-level profitability.

Process Improvement & Innovation

  • Champion the use of data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Beacon) to enhance decision-making.

  • Identify and implement process improvements to streamline reporting and analysis.

  • Promote a data-driven culture that supports proactive business planning.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree required; MBA preferred.

  • 8+ years of progressive experience in financial analysis, pricing, or business strategy.

  • Experience leading analytical or finance teams or peers.

  • Strong understanding of sales finance, pricing models, and margin management.

  • Advanced Excel skills; experience with Power BI, Tableau, or similar tools preferred.

  • Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.

  • Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams and drive strategic outcomes.
