Apple’s Sales organization generates the revenue needed to fuel our ongoing development of products and services. This in turn, enriches the lives of hundreds of millions of people around the world. Our sales team, is in many ways, the face of Apple to our largest customers.
Apple is looking for a very strong Program Manager to create and implement in-store initiatives/experiences that will apply across all our Route-to-Market channels to drive sales and customer experience. The Program manager will cover the program design, development and delivery of go-to-market strategies of these initiatives. They will be working with a variety of cross functional partners including staff & training, in store technologies, product marketing, finance and merchandising to name a few. These initiatives will be designed to apply across tens of thousands of point of sales of our Consumer Electronic retailers, our Carrier partners, and Apple-only resellers across the world.
Description
In addition to in-store experiences the cross route-to market program manager will design, develop and deploy a competitive analysis framework and process to deeply understand and how all Apple Omni-Channel sales programs stand out vs our main competitors worldwide and provide recommendations of actionable and scalable initiatives to preserve our leadership position in this space.
The Program Manager is a strategic problem solver and organized teammate. They will drive, project manage and deliver against key initiatives in our channel programs globally, focusing on omni-channel customer experiences. They will activate on device apps and content, merchandising and staff and connect them with channel partner digital touch points with consumers.
Responsibilities include:
Design scalable platform for showcasing customer experiences (assisted and unassisted) across multiple touch points (online to offline) and across all route-to-markets.
Design comprehensive Competitive analysis framework and review process to deeply understand how Apple Omni-Channel Programs compare vs our main competitors WW.
Create comprehensive program plans and establish a plan of record and manage the whole lifecycle of the project across design, development, delivery and deployment.
Conduct & collect external market research to support strategies.
Gather internal and external best practices.
Draft program communications.
Connect with all parties involved in a project which might include cross-functional global teams and teams in regions around the world, to keep projects on track.
Provide regular updates to business owners and company executives.
Collect, analyze and interpret quantitative and qualitative data.
Create reports and presentations to show both strategies, program status’ and results.
Complete ad hoc business projects, which may include analytics.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelors degree required.
Minimum 8 years of relevant work experience.
Minimum 5 years of Commercial Experience managing channels in multiple route-to-markets.
A deep understanding of how the customer journey connects physical and digital interactions.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in effectively managing multiple cross-functional projects simultaneously.
Previous experience in setting sales or retail strategy.
Ability to create a phenomenal customer and partner experience.
Ability to stay on top of details while maintaining a big picture view, have sense of urgency, and follow-through.
Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
Experience working in a fast-paced environment, ability to adapt quickly and think creatively.
Proficient in Excel and Keynote.
Excellent collaboration and relationship building skills.
Pay & Benefits
At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $143,900 and $216,900, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
