ROC North encompasses the countries in Central America, the Caribbean, Puerto Rico, and Ecuador, markets where we anticipate significant growth in the coming years.

This Account Executive (AE) role supports the implementation of strategic initiatives for three key businesses: (1) Claro channel management in ROC North, (2) Value-Added Distributor (VAD) new capability building in ROC North, and (3) Apple Accessories/Beats and refurbished/left to sell in (LTSI) in LATAM.

This position is based on-site in the posting location.

Description

Claro responsibilities :
Claro (an America Movil company) is the largest telecommunications company in Latin America and a key partner in the region. In this role, you will support the Telco Lead in deploying the account plan.

Operational and Stakeholder Alignment:
• Lead daily and weekly meetings with Apple internal teams (Partner, Sales Ops, Finance, Reseller Operations, Compliance) to drive priorities, identify process gaps, and implement continuous improvements to enhance efficiency.
• Proactively manage end-to-end purchase orders (POs) lifecycle by chasing commitments, negotiating delivery dates with Claro stakeholders, and escalating at-risk orders; own aging backlog resolution to clear outstanding orders across all countries.
• Monitor and maintain optimal inventory levels by enforcing minimum weeks-of-supply thresholds across all SKUs to prevent supply disruptions and ensure consistent product availability.

Account Management and Channel Execution:
• Build and maintain influential partnerships with Claro across purchasing, marketing, sales, and sales management teams; report competitive landscape, account trends, and convergence opportunities to drive growth.
• Ensure Playbook compliance by monitoring consumer offers, communication plans, and channel execution; track weekly sales, inventory, attach rates, and bundle performance across all channels.
• Support Claro online sales execution strategy including foundational setup (Apple ID creation, online store configuration), weekly reporting cadence, and optimization of customer journey (buy flow, assets).

Point of Sale Implementation:
• Oversee demos, graphics, and support materials across Apple-led Carrier Shops and Claro-led fit-in-stand-out (FISO) locations; partner with Channel Sales Programs and Apple Excellence Program teams to drive execution and identify expansion opportunities.
• Collaborate with Apple regional and Mexico digital teams to secure the latest marketing assets; support regional Claro campaign implementation while managing asset access and approval for internal and external stakeholders.
• Monitor and report Claro quarterly and annual advertising spend by country to ensure budget alignment and investment optimization across the region.

Beats & Accessories Responsibilities :
As the Beats & Accessories lead for ALAC, you will focus on rapidly growing product categories that attach to and add new value to our hero devices. You will develop business strategies, incentive programs, and other resources to support our LATAM Sales organization in enabling attach at scale, working closely with local sales teams, finance, and other organizations, as well as directly with Apple’s top reseller partners in Latin America. In this role, you will:

• Be the strategic and analytical lead for business development initiatives for Latin America across Apple-branded Accessories and Beats as well as identify channel gaps and opportunities.
• Lead the new product introductions global strategy and goal with ALAC country leads and AEs. Including sharing announcements, keynotes as well as ensuring on-time bookings.
• Collaborate on quarterly ALAC Beats & Accessories Forecasting activities with ALAC Demand Forecast and Analytics (DF&A).
• Manage internal dashboards and repository for assets’ updates in order to support internal teams in managing their Beats & Accessories business.
• Monitor top 10 ALAC Beats & Accessories accounts to support ALAC AE’s in order chase and in-stocks improvement activities.
• Work with Beats & Accessories Reseller Operations Lead on a weekly basis to ensure shipment of aging backlog for the region, align on supply constraints and recovery dates.

LTSI Deals Responsibilities :
• Raise Sales Exception Approvals (SEAs) for all lines of business to enable execution of quarterly and spot deals and manage end-to-end PO requests with corresponding SEAs.
• Liaise with customers to inform them about the funding requirements to cover quarterly and spot deals.
• Monitor shipments and resolve any issues that arise during the process.
• Collaborate on quarterly forecast alignment between Worldwide and ALAC DF&A.

VAD Responsibilities :
• Support, follow-up and accelerate the implementation and day-to-day operations of key affordability initiatives (financing and trade-in) deployed by the VAD to the channel
• Support, maintain and follow-up VAD Digital initiatives and Apple Brand Pages consistency among the retail channel to create a digital channel cohesive brand experience across the region.
• Collaborate with the Apple B2B/Education team to accelerate the development of commercial channels, aligning with Apple Enterprise objectives for the region.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Sales background including 8+ years of stellar performance in business development, strategy, or sales management.

  • Proven track record of successfully managing complex, data-driven projects with multiple partners.

  • Strong planning and analytical skills, creative thinker, and problem-solver.

  • Resourcefulness, creativity, and flexibility to thrive in an ambiguous, dynamic, fast-paced environment.

  • Exceptional organization, communication (Spanish and English), and leadership skills, with the ability to influence cross-functional teams at all levels of the organization.

  • Proficiency with analytical software (e.g., Tableau) and database management systems. The interview process will include a test on these tools.
