Description
APPLE INC has the following available in Cupertino, California and various unanticipated locations throughout the USA. Develop Public Relations strategy and approach for new iOS releases, working closely with the global public relations team, Product Marketing, Marcom, Retail, Developer Relations,
Legal, Government Affairs, and more. Manage media relations, working with press to highlight the newest features available to iPhone users. Manage software reviews and develop stories
with media featuring interviews with Apple team members. Analyze media coverage and develop reports. Work with third-party developer/app partners who are part of Apple product
launches, reviewing press releases and announcements and integrating them into launch briefings, media outreach and other launch and ongoing public relations activities. Build media
and create relationships, perform going outreach, and issues/crisis management. Develop comprehensive public relations plans for iOS throughout the year to set goals, objectives, and
strategies for increasing visibility for major iOS features across media and social channels. Work closely with other Worldwide Public Relations team members to cross-collaborate on
activities. Work closely with the Product Marketing, Marcom, Retail, and App Store teams to build holistic product campaigns that can be executed across channels. Analyse campaign
outcomes and apply learnings to optimize future activities. Develop and maintain relationships with third-party developers and organizations working with Apple on new technologies.
Partner with third-party organizations on launch moments and announcements. Place media stories about the collaborative work between Apple and third-party entities. Develop processes
and tools to build and maintain global team relationships. Lead international team planning sessions and meetings, helping align public relations strategies and activities between countries.
10% domestic and international travel required. 40 hours/week. At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $143,900 - $216,900/yr and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.

Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Linguistics, Public Relations, Marketing, Communications, or related field and 7 years of experience in the job offered or related occupation.
5 years of experience with each of the following skills is required:
Write messaging and develop the positioning of products for a technical and mainstream media audience.
Building out launch strategies, by working with the global press and creators about product launches, auditing the media landscape for relevant media contacts and building a social media strategy.
Maintaining coverage for products through established relationships with media and content creators.
Writing and editing for pitches and press materials that inspire global news cycles.
Develop and maintain strong media and influencer relationships by discovering contacts at media publications and across social media channels and using media databases to develop and place stories.
Working across product marketing, engineering, and other internal stakeholders on technological details.
Managing multiple projects and programs from start to finish.
Analyzing media coverage and sentiment and applying insights to the team’s work.
Working cross functionally across teams and geographies, ensuring focus on strategies for the customer
