Description

APPLE INC has the following available in Cupertino, California and various unanticipated locations throughout the USA.Lead Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) operations team in planning and executing development builds and new product ramps. Communicate at all levels, thrive in an ambiguous environment, facilitate actions and resolve conflicts. Lead within worldwide Operations and collaborate with the core product development team and other functional organizations within Apple. Drive ramp readiness with engineering, operations and OEM teams. Plan capacity and lead factory equipment budget. Handle component readiness to ensure part availability, quality, and cost. Communicate requirements and schedules to facilitate technical readiness with supply chain teams. Influence product manufacturability, testability, and supply chain responsiveness in pursuit of low cost and flexibility while stewarding quality. Lead all communications, upward and downward through the organization. Raise key issues and options for resolution with executive teams. 40 hours/week. At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $165,400 - $248,200/yr and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related field and 1 year of experience in the job offered or related occupation.

  • 1 year of experience with each of the following skills is required:

  • Using project management software including Microsoft Project to create detailed project plan to develop and maintain schedule with cross-functional teams and escalate appropriately when issues occur.

  • Creating, tracking and managing budgets and costs to avoid exceeding allocated budget.

  • Utilizing Excel and Tableau for vendor capacity analysis.

  • Utilizing Excel and Tableau modeling to analyze quantity in-stock, supply levels, seasonality, year-on-year curve modeling, risk mitigation, and supply/demand shortages.

  • Collaborating on OEM input planning, supply, and shipment plan execution.

  • Working with supply chain processes, including supply chain diversification, identifying suppliers, and risk mitigation.

  • Leading business process re-engineering initiatives, including creating project plans, defining scope and milestones, managing project budgets, and ensuring timely project delivery.

  • Utilizing Excel for resource allocation to identify project peak timings, identifying team resources and managing team workloads.
