As part of the Supply Chain Innovation team, you will play a pivotal role in building end-to-end, best-in-class software solutions for Apple’s Supply Chain needs, ranging from Supply Planning and Demand Planning to Product Distribution and beyond. You will collaborate with various internal stakeholders to define and implement solutions that optimize Apple’s internal business processes.
Description
As an Engineering Project Manager you will be responsible for overseeing and managing complex software development from initiation to completion. This role requires a strong technical background, leadership capabilities, and project management expertise to ensure project objectives, deadlines, and budgets are met. The ideal candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams, including Business, Development, Architect and Quality assurance, to drive project success.
Minimum Qualifications
3+ years of experience in engineering project management, applying strong engineering principles and software development expertise to deliver complex projects successfully.
Experience managing multiple stakeholders through effective communication, Agile/Scrum practices, and structured project execution.
Hands-on proficiency with JIRA for sprint planning, backlog management, and progress tracking, alongside advanced MS Excel skills for data-driven reporting and analysis.
PMP (or equivalent) certification preferred; holds a B.S./M.S. in Computer Science or a related field.
Preferred Qualifications
Previous developer experience in Python/Java and AI/ML a plus
A strong understanding of LLMs, prompt engineering, and RAG is a plus
Excellent problem-solving, decision-making, and leadership skills.
Ability to work under pressure, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
Comfortable working in a multi-discipline, geographically dispersed team.
