Role Number: 200654463-0836

Summary

Do you love supporting others and being a trusted go-to resource? Do you thrive on variety—balancing deep expertise with new challenges each day? If you’re an innovative, proactive administrative professional eager to grow your skills, we’d love for you to join Special Projects’ collaborative and high-energy team!

Description

In this role, you’ll provide high-level support to two Senior Directors and their software engineering teams, while serving as a trusted backup to the VP as needed. You’ll thrive in a fast-paced, constantly evolving environment where multitasking, organization, and unwavering attention to detail are essential. The ideal candidate is self-motivated, proactive, and able to exercise sound judgment, communicate clearly, and build effective systems while staying closely connected to everything happening across the teams. Because this role involves access to sensitive information and secure areas, confidentiality and discretion are critical.

This position also requires both cognitive and physical capabilities. You’ll regularly assist with light office tasks, including preparing meeting spaces and supporting events. In this dynamic environment, you’ll have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact, expand your skills, and enjoy the work you do.

Minimum Qualifications

  • 5–6 years of administrative and calendaring experience supporting senior leadership.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with comfort interacting with senior executives and cross-functional teams.

  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

  • Proven ability to work independently, exercise sound judgment, and maintain strict confidentiality.

  • Proactive, solution-oriented, and able to work independently while navigating ambiguity and shifting priorities.

  • Maintains composure under pressure while making timely, well-informed decisions.

  • Proficiency with Mac OS/iOS, Calendar, Mail, Slack, and Keynote, with the ability to quickly learn, adapt to, and effectively leverage new technologies as business needs evolve.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Project management experience.

  • Experience supporting engineering or technical teams.

  • Strong conflict-management skills and ability to escalate issues appropriately.
