Our team sits within Global Commercial Services (GCS) Products and is committed to empower American Express’s agenda to expand commercial payments. The mission of B2B payment platforms is to deliver innovative, digital solutions that will make payment services more accessible, coordinated, and flexible for businesses around the world.
How will you make an impact in this role?
In this role, you will serve as a Manager, Digital Product Management for Virtual Card (VC) Capabilities, creating and bringing to market payments solutions. Collaboration is key for our team, and you will work closely with cross-functional partners to prioritize initiatives, deliver impactful features, and ensure alignment with business goals.
The ideal candidate will have demonstrated experience in leading product development from concept to execution, delivering new and improved digital capabilities and user experiences, building roadmaps, providing data-driven insights, and thrive in a fast paced and ever-changing environment to bring these concepts to life.
Key Responsibilities:
Engage with Product Management to understand strategic vision for product growth, identifying OKRs and critical metrics of success
Collaborate with Technologies to identify the business architecture and design for an efficient solution based on the common objectives
Build a product development roadmap and align with the key partners on the achievements
Identify and engage product owners of the capabilities and the platforms required to enable the E2E customer journeys and the experiences
Collaborate with the Servicing and the Operations teams to document procedures for customer support and issue resolution
Create features and user stories in rally, working with Program Managers, Scrum Masters and Engineers to prioritize and sequence them in a product backlog
As integral part of the scrum team(s), participate in and drive scrum ceremonies
Deliver solutions and drive vital process improvement initiatives
Occasional domestic travel
Minimum Qualifications:
5 years of relevant experience as a product owner/manager or project lead
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with experience using data to inform product decisions
Curiosity and hunger to know how things work and ability to use that knowledge to make connections and find opportunities
Ability to engage and influence cross functional teams in a global organization
Consistent record of accomplishment of defining the product constructs and delivering a product roadmap from inception through implementation with the customer first approach and defining process flows
Experience working in a dynamic environment with consistent record of leading the shifting priorities
Expertise in agile and the scaled agile methodologies to run the product development with the software engineering teams
Phenomenal teammate, including ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships at all levels within the organization
Ability to build and deliver executive-level communications, updates and reports to key team members and partners
Bachelor’s degree
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master's degree in computer science, engineering or a similar field

Salary Range: $90,000.00 to $165,000.00 annually bonus benefits
