CAI is seeking multiple Service Desk Analysts in Pittsburgh, PA.

In 2013, Computer Aid, Inc. (CAI) launched their Autism 2Work Program with a strategic mission of helping the underemployment of many affected with ASD (Autism Spectrum) that are looking for opportunities where they can do more, learn more and develop a career in Information Technology.
This ground-breaking Initiative employs IT professionals that have been affected by Autism. In order to be considered for this role, candidates must have a diagnosis which is on the Autism Spectrum.
In this role, the Service Desk Analyst is tasked with receiving and analyzing service requests (“tickets”) to ensure that submitter has the proper authority for the requested service or system. After determining permissions, they would complete the request in accordance to defined procedures. The Service Desk Analyst will have the ability to update, create, or delete user access across multiple systems and platforms. The ability to remain focused while utilizing multiple systems simultaneously us paramount for this position.
Technical Requirements:
- Creation of IDs for non-employees
- Access management across platforms that we support; RACF; LDAP; Active Directory; Data Custodianship; etc.
- Definition of groups within Active Directory
- Definition of file permissions within Active Directory/LDAP
- Mainframe resource and rule maintenance (RACF)
- Secondary auth ID creation
- Management of Security Request Management queue - assignments and workflow to designed data custodians; including Incident and Request ITSM.
- Knowledge of Incident management best practices
- Access management on Enterprise Roles
- Batch Processing/JCL
- Knowledge of Incident management best practices
- Exposure to DB2 and Oracle databases and queries
- Help desk level experience of Active directory administration support
- Access administration using RACF (Highly recommended)
- Requirement of diagnosis within ASD (Autism Spectrum Disorder) or known affects
Key Competencies
- Work independently to complete request and complete the minimum number of tickets a day
- Possess the ability to work in a team environment and support others in the completion of assigned work
- Able to work independently to complete requests and complete the minimum tickets per day
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively via verbal and written communication
- Ability to learn and operate several systems simultaneously in order to complete a request
Education & Experience:
- High School Diploma
- Post secondary education, Associate or Bachelor's degree in Information Science, Computer Networking or related field, preferred
- Previous IT experience is a plus
