Apple's Global Security Operations team is looking for highly customer-service oriented, self-motivated individuals to join us as a Customer Service and Safety (CSS) Specialists. In this role, you'll provide 24/7/365 security coverage and support to Apple employees, customers, and properties throughout the Santa Clara Valley. This is a physical job requiring the ability to work in diverse environments and frequent travel between Apple locations.

Description

As a CSS Specialist, you'll be a forward facing presence, ensuring the safety and security of Apple's people and properties. Your responsibilities will include assisting employees, customers, and visitors with inquiries, conducting regular patrols and building checks, responding to medical emergencies, and ensuring all necessary equipment is in proper working order. You'll also support special events and participate in daily downloads to stay informed. We value a strong work ethic, accountability, and the ability to connect with a diverse group of individuals.

Graveyard shift: 9pm to 6am
15% shift differential and overtime eligible

Minimum Qualifications

  • Ability to possess and maintain a BSIS PSO License (through training if not already possessed)

  • Possess and maintain a valid California driver’s license with a clean driving record for the last three years

  • Ability to successfully complete required training, including CPR, AED use, and vehicle training

Preferred Qualifications

  • 2-3 years with customer service based experience

  • Demonstrated desire to be a great teammate, showing enthusiasm and a positive attitude, with the ability to deliver a high level of customer service

  • Flexibility to work a variety of shifts (nights, weekends, holidays) and willingness to assist the team with overtime when needed

  • Ability to perform repetitive actions such as standing at a static post, getting in and out of a vehicle, using hand-held radio equipment and flashlight, writing/typing reports, and carrying safety equipment including cones, medical bags, etc.

  • Willingness to be exposed to various environments, including computer screens, temperature-controlled indoor settings, and inclement weather (heat/cold, rain, wind) both while driving and outside a vehicle

Pay & Benefits

At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $27.75 and $37.10/hr, and most new hires start at $27.75. Your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
