Job Description

The Finance Associate Director oversees the financial planning and reporting of Global Commercial DSO and Headcount and the International Therapeutics Balance Sheet. In addition, this position oversees the Capital Authorization process for International Therapeutics and some International Aesthetics projects, tracking RCE authorizations vs budget, ensuring compliance to policy, and collaborating on Suite-level RCE submissions. This position is also accountable for driving budgeting, actuals and reporting of the global HQ budget. The Associate Director interacts with all levels of finance and business management as well as Corporate and other functions, providing required deliverables.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Provides relevant variance analysis for each planning cycle, develops meaningful management reporting schedules, and ensures accuracy and predictability of results and key metrics.

  • Consolidates International Therapeutics B/S commentary and prepares Commercial DSO month and/or quarter end reporting as well as leading monthly executive management reviews.

  • Administers the SOX internal control survey and summarizes for the global Therapeutics organization.

  • Responsible for quarterly Intangible Asset analysis and reviews.

  • Manages the Capital Authorization process and serves as the backup RAPID RCE Admin, collaborates with Affiliates, Real Estate, Facilities, and Corporate FP&A for Suite-level RCEs, and ensures the Capital process complies with all policies and procedures.

  • Consolidates annual Plan and LRP submissions for Global Commercial B/S, DSO, and Capital.

  • Directly responsible for all reporting and planning cycles for the global HQ budget. Additionally, reviews Global HQ journal entries and ensures compliance with GAAP.

  • Partners with cross-functional stakeholders to generate tools and reporting while leveraging technology to drive enterprise solutions.

  • Supports key projects and initiatives (e.g. planning system standardization, management reporting and optimization) and drives process improvements. Supports ad hoc analysis as required.

  • Manages a staff of 3 people.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting. CPA or MBA a plus.

  • 7-10 years of progressive and related experience.

  • Ability to work and thrive in a highly matrixed environment

  • Strong financial, analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Strong communication skills (oral and written) and ability to influence without direct authority.

  • Self-starter with ability to operate independently, drive multiple processes, identify & implement process improvements, and establish & adjust priorities to achieve objective and operate with speed and agility.

  • Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills.

  • Knowledge of SAP, BPC, & BIP.

  • Experience leading a diverse team.
