We are seeking a data-driven Product Manager to own and optimize the critical post-paywall conversion funnel for our In-App Purchase (IAP) platform. This role directly impacts developer success by maximizing conversion rates through the entire purchase journey, from buy sheet presentation through post-purchase confirmation.
The ideal candidate will combine deep expertise in conversion optimization with the technical acumen to drive backend improvements and the analytical rigor to deliver measurable impact through both experimentation and strategic product initiatives.
Description
You will own the IAP conversion funnel from the moment a user engages with an in-app purchase, through transaction completion, and onto the post-purchase user journey. In partnership with Apple's world-class design team, this product manager will optimize the buy sheet experience to improve user comprehension, decision-making, leading to improved conversion. From the ideation, presenting the feature to senior leadership, to working with engineering and other cross-functional parters, you will drive improvements for App Store IAP platform via experimentation. You'll influence the payments roadmap to drive improved margin and geographic expansion of IAP.
Minimum Qualifications
7+ years of product management experience, with at least 3 years focused on conversion optimization, payments, or e-commerce
Excellent interpersonal communication skills with strong ability to build consensus with multiple stakeholder groups
Outstanding storytelling and presentation skills with the ability to communicate complex data in actionable, compelling ways
Preferred Qualifications
Proven track record of improving conversion rates through both incremental optimization and step-change innovations
Deep experience with A/B testing platforms and analysis of experiment results
Background in payment systems, checkout flows, or transaction processing
Strong familiarity with developer ecosystems and the tools/platform they use
Demonstrated ability to work with complex technical systems
Advanced degree in Business, Computer Science, Statistics, or related field
