Apple’s Regulatory and compliance team is looking for a North American Regulatory Compliance expert for Wireless Inductive charging (WPT) to drive various wireless project certification end to end, from development to launch, worldwide with focus in US and Canada.
Description
Candidate will work with Apple’s international teams and regional organizations to ensure that our product meets worldwide wireless compliance standards and to ensure the critical deployment of new products and technologies. This role is vital, internally driving Wireless (hardware engineering), supporting policy, and changing standardization.
Minimum Qualifications
Master's Degree in Engineering or 5 years of equivalent practical experience.
5 years of RF working experience with main focus on Wireless Power transfer (WPT) compliance and standards.
Experience managing, organizing, and driving deliverables of complex projects with tight timelines.
Preferred Qualifications
Good RF background across multiple wireless technologies like WIFI(6e)/BT/Cellular with main focus on Wireless Power Transfer (WPT)
Knowledge of US Regulatory requirements and standards with experience in testing WPT/RF/EMC/EMI compliance.
Experience with standard RF test lab equipment including spectrum analyzer, signal generator and processes
Good understanding of RF systems, schematics, and board layouts.
Excellent communication (verbal and written) and documentation skills
RF simulation and automating daily work are an added advantage but are not mandatory
Experience with scripting/programming language like python, C, C++ is a plus
