Description

APPLE INC has the following available in San Diego, California. Coordinate the end-to-end releases for Safari and Safari Technology preview to ensure continuous improvement and timely updates. Actively develop and refine automation tools using Python and Swift to optimize the Safari release process, focusing on enhancing efficiency and consistency. Regularly conduct installation tests and supervise quality assurance to maintain and elevate Safari's release standards to ensure an optimal user experience. Triage and manage issues related to build failures including the identification and assignment of resolution tasks to stakeholders. Collaborate closely with the Build and Integration team to confirm that all content updates are successfully integrated and built into the latest Safari version. 40 hours/week. At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $134,800 - $203,000/yr and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Masters Degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science or related field and 1 year of experience in the job offered or related occupation

  • 1 year of experience with each of the following skills is required:

  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure releases are timely, high-quality, and aligned with organizational priorities.

  • Developing and managing Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines using tools including Jenkins or GitHub Actions to achieve stable, frequent, and automated software releases.

  • Creating automation scripts interacting with REST APIs, fetching, parsing, and efficiently publishing data to various internal and external endpoints.

  • Managing software version control systems in Git, including branching strategies, release tagging, conflict resolution, and code merges across multiple engineering teams.

  • Utilizing database systems and Python scripting skills to manage data across software development workflows.

  • Debugging complex build and deployment failures, leveraging tools including Xcode, and command line debuggers to identify, reproduce, and resolve deployment issues rapidly and systematically.

  • Performing stress testing, regression testing, and integration validation on software builds prior to release
