The Apple Store Online (ASO) Operations team is seeking a Senior Manager, Workforce Strategy & Analytics leader to shape and scale the global workforce powering digital content operations. This leader will be responsible for designing and implementing a comprehensive workforce strategy that enables ASO Operations to deliver high-quality digital content at scale, combining leadership across two core pillars:
Workforce Enablement – including skills development programs, staffing and vendor management
Operational Analytics – including performance measurement, reporting, capacity forecasting & planning, and decision support

In this role, you will define the strategic direction and executional roadmap for how ASO Operations plans, develops, and measures its workforce. You will lead all aspects of initiatives that enable functional training, scalable staffing, vendor performance, and capacity management—while also owning the analytics and reporting frameworks that drive operational decisions. Your leadership will ensure ASO Operations remains agile, accountable, and continuously improving in support of Apple’s global digital commerce experiences.
Key responsibilities include:
Develop and lead the integrated workforce strategy for ASO Operations, encompassing global headcount planning, staffing programs, training and enablement, and vendor management to ensure scalable and agile digital content delivery.
Build and manage a high-performing operational analytics function, responsible for forecasting, performance reporting, and data-driven decision support that drives continuous improvement across internal teams and external partners.
Establish and standardize key performance indicators and workforce performance metrics to ensure end-to-end visibility, accountability, and alignment with operational goals across ASO’s content production ecosystem.
Partner cross-functionally with senior leaders in Production, Program Management, Finance, and Vendor Management to align workforce supply with business demand and support long-range planning, investment decisions, and transformation initiatives.
Minimum Qualifications
10+ years of experience in workforce strategy, business operations, learning and development, or analytics in a global organization
7+ years of people management experience, including 3+ managing managers/senior individual contributors
Experience building training programs, managing headcount planning processes, and overseeing vendor strategies.
Excellent communication and partner management skills, with the ability to influence senior leadership and drive alignment.
Strong strategic thinking balanced with an ability to execute in fast-paced, matrixed environments.
BA/BS in business, organizational development, a quantitative field or related field or equivalent experience
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in digital content production, e-commerce operations, or vendor ecosystems.
Familiarity with workforce and analytics platforms such as Workday, Snowflake, or AWS.
Track record of driving large-scale transformation and change management initiatives.
Experience designing or managing data architecture, critical metrics and pipeline frameworks to support scalable, automated reporting and integrated workforce analytics.
Advanced analytical skills, including experience with forecasting, statistical modeling, and data visualization (e.g., SQL, Tableau, Python).
MBA or degree in business, organizational development, or a quantitative field.
