How will you make an impact in this role?
Support a team of marketing compliance and regulatory experts that work with marketers and campaign execution specialists to develop creative materials for Card marketing campaigns, ensure they are compliant with all legal, regulatory, Brand, and internal requirements.
Support the team to perform their tasks with flawless quality and delivery of team KPI’s.
Provide creative consultation services to US Consumer Services and US Commercial Services to deliver critical Card marketing priorities such as new product launches, product refreshes, partnerships, and offers.
Work with Marketing partners to develop compliant yet effective marketing and advertising content.
Be the final reviewer and approver of American Express advertising before it goes to market.
Support delivery of near-term enhancements in alignment with Marketing and MarTech to create speed, efficiency, impact and capacity in creative processes.
Support implementation of a long-range vision of our creative development, review & maintenance strategy, making use of evolving MarTech capabilities in alignment with Marketing, Product & Tech.
Support critical marketing processes like managing marketing content databases, creative development committees, creative review processes, operational controls and projects to update marketing content in our marketing channels.
Maintain strong partnerships with Product Management, Marketing, Compliance, GCO, Operational Risk, and other key partners.
Minimum Qualifications
2 years of marketing operations, advertising and/or creative review experience
2 years in a Compliance, Legal and/or Quality Assurance role
Bachelor’s degree Preferred Qualifications
Extreme attention to detail and organization, with the ability to retain and enforce a complex set of advertising compliance requirements.
Strong leadership skills and customer focus mindset with emphasis on consultation and collaboration.
Ability to communicate complex concepts and direction clearly and persuasively, in both written and oral format. Can work with marketing partners to ‘get to yes’ when the initial creative approach doesn’t work.
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
Ability to manage multiple tasks, take on new responsibilities and prioritize work in a dynamic, deadline intensive environment.
Proven ability to develop and maintain strong working relationships with business clients, stakeholders, and colleagues.
Capacity to be agile, open-minded, comfortable, and confident operating in “gray space” where decisions and accountability rest with you.
Strong work ethic and personal accountability.
Familiarity with consumer banking regulations
Qualifications
Salary Range: $55,000.00 to $105,000.00 annually bonus benefits
