Job Description

The Manager, Print and Fulfillment plays a key operational role in US Therapeutics Marketing Operations, focusing on the lifecycle management of print collateral. AbbVie’s model for print support leverages a robust inventory management system and a full-service supplier network. This position is responsible for maintaining and evolving the system and network to meet Commercial requirements and the needs of the sales force. The Manager reports to the Senior Manager of Print & Fulfillment and supports the creation of operational and strategic mechanisms to drive supplier performance and compliantly ensure speed to market for promotional materials.

Role Responsibilities:

Print/Inventory/Fulfillment Activity Oversight:

  • Monitor supplier adherence to service-level agreements and ensure consistent support across the network. Collaborate with Procurement to resolve performance issues and monitor remediation efforts.

  • Collaborate with Marketing across enterprise to understand print collateral needs and ensure customer service excellence and print quality across network.

  • Develop and leverage quantitative and qualitative metrics to evaluate:

  • On-time order fulfillment from designated warehouses.

  • Inventory management and usage, including monitoring suppliers’ handling of incoming materials, recommending quantities, and managing the destruction of expiring or expired promotional materials.

  • Shipping and freight costs, ensuring transparency and partnering with suppliers to achieve reasonable cost avoidance.

Field Ordering Platform Support and Enhancements:

  • Engage with marketing and field teams to improve user experience and reporting capabilities.

  • Ideate and promote system enhancements in collaboration with suppliers.

Promotional Labeling Support:

  • Assist Promotional Labeling team with execution of label updates and translations.

  • Oversee supplier controls around handling and fulfillment of promotional labeling documents (Package Inserts, Brief Summaries.)

Purchase Orders and Billing:

  • Responsible for all aspects of purchasing support: manage Statement of Work (SOW) and Purchase Order creation for fulfillment, TIM support and centralized paper program. Review and reconcile billing and credits for invoice accuracy.

Compliance Requirements:

  • Generate required reports and monitor selected ordering and shipping activities (e.g., direct shipments to healthcare professionals) to support Compliance and other stakeholders.

  • Assist with investigations into supplier quality incidents.

This role requires operation within our hybrid model (3 days in office). We are only considering talent located within the following location(s): Mettawa, IL.

Qualifications

  • B.A./B.S./Business, IT or Marketing degree.

  • 8+ years of experience in project or program management

  • Experience with printing industry and print project management.

  • Knowledge of pharmaceutical promotional review and related operational areas.

  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel and Powerpoint

  • Strong and agile problem-solving abilities in complex, regulated department.

  • Excellent computer, technology and presentation skills.

  • Strong written, verbal and presentation skills.

Salary: $106,500 - $202,500
