Description
APPLE INC has the following available in San Diego, California. Coordinate all system performance testing effort across platforms (iOS, watchOS, macOS, etc). Design and develop test framework to run automated tests. Automate test cases. Run system performance testing on visionOS. Develop tools to automatically analyze results and file bugs. Debug performance issues and fix/improve system performance. Design, implement and maintain a web-based portal to streamline daily workflow for the team. Coach and mentor junior engineers. 40 hours/week. At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $203,266 - $283,200/yr and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.

Minimum Qualifications
Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Software Engineering, Computer and Information Technology, or a related field and 4 years of experience in the job offered or related occupation.
3 years of experience with each of the following skills is required:
Using Python and Swift to develop automation test framework and automated tests
Creating and executing test plans for new and existing features.
Performing software testing and debugging to identify and resolve issues in operating systems.
Building cloud applications with frontend and backend components.
Using PostgreSQL for test data to design and implement a backend database
1 year of experience with each of the following skills is required:
Analyzing and optimizing system-level memory usage.
Enhancing computational processes for speed, scalability, and efficiency.
Applying broad and deep knowledge on how operating systems work (including kernel, memory management, process management, file system management).
