Description

APPLE INC has the following available in Cary, North Carolina. Design scalable solutions in Siri improve the accuracy and intelligence of Siri’s handling of personal entity resolution. Development of C++ code that performs candidate recall given conversational input with low-latency and memory-efficient execution. Collaborate with language engineers to improve entity search and matching capabilities for international locales, though phonetic analysis and multilingual NLP. Implement solutions that recall entity candidates and their respective signals for ML models to make action recommendations, with a focus on user privacy. Triage and resolve production issues efficiently and effectively, with clear and regular status updates. Create E2E robust data management pipelines that handle job scheduling and allocation of resourcing and monitoring of entity update notifications. Develop high-quality testing solutions to ensure the quality of entity resolution strategies and to monitor for regressions across all locales. 40 hours/week.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electronic Engineering or related field.

• Education and/or experience must include each of the following skills:

• Reading and speaking in Mandarin language

• Understanding of computer science fundamentals, including data structures, object-oriented design, concurrency, and algorithms.

• Development knowledge with multi-threaded, low-latency C++ development.

• Knowledge of CPU architecture and efficient utilization of CPU capacities.

• Integrating with and implementing solutions leveraging machine learning models or machine learning experience

• Knowledge of linguistics across multiple languages to triage and resolve multilingual entity resolution and natural language understanding failures.

• Leveraging data processing pipelines and analytics to monitor for quality and identify regressions.
