Description
APPLE INC has the following available in Cupertino, California and various unanticipated locations throughout the USA. Develop New Features for Search Services. Design and implement new features, with senior engineers. Learn about the system architecture and contribute to the development of search functionalities. Write and Maintain Go Code. Write simple, clean, and well-documented Go code. Engage in code reviews and learn to make the code performant and maintainable. Support Development Efforts and Bug Fixing - Aid in the ongoing development tasks and learn to diagnose and fix bugs under the supervision of senior developers. Participate in Team Collaboration. Join meetings with the business and development teams to gain insights into the project requirements and the software development lifecycle. Support Requirement Gathering and Feature Development. Assist in collecting requirements and defining features under the guidance of more experienced team members. Learn to translate business needs into technical tasks. Contribute to Technical Documentation. Help in creating and updating documentation for system specifications, protocols, and development processes, under the mentorship of senior engineers. Implement Cloud-Based Operations. Gain exposure to cloud infrastructure and assist in simple deployment and monitoring tasks. Apply Basic Security Practices - Learn about security protocols and assist in implementing basic security measures in the development process. Assist in Database Management Tasks. Define and manage database schemas. Perform basic data manipulation tasks, learning about data integrity and optimization. Monitor and Report System Performance. Monitor the performance of applications and report findings to the senior engineers for further analysis. Give Educational Workshops and Trainings. Prepare material for feature demonstrations to stakeholders. Engage in training sessions and workshops to improve technical skills and understanding of backend and infrastructure engineering. 40 hours/week. At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $146,307 - $214,500/yr and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.

Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field.
Education and/or experience must include each of the following skills:
Utilizing Java, Python, C, Ruby on Rails, or Golang programming languages to build backend applications.
Utilizing code profiling tools to identify performance bottlenecks and memory leaks.
Utilizing YAML, JSON, and Protocol Buffers to design data structures and configuration files.
Designing efficient data structures and algorithms to optimize software performance.
Utilizing Git version control system to manage and maintain source code repositories.
Utilizing Integrated Development Environments (IDEs) such as Visual Studio or IntelliJ IDEA.
Utilizing Linux command-line tools and interpreters for script development and machine operations.
Utilizing ZShell languages to script and automate routine tasks.
Writing client-server application leveraging TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP and gRPC.
Utilizing Docker container technology.
Utilizing Kubernetes to manage and orchestrate containerized applications at scale.
