DESCRIPTION
We are looking for a talented Warehouse Coordinator - Level III to join our team specializing in Logistics for our Cummins Inc. facility in Plainfield, IN.
In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:
Operational Efficiency: Coordinate operations across key areas like Inbound, Outbound, and Kitting, ensuring smooth workflows and aligning activities with management directives.
Health and Safety Leadership: Leading HSE training and promoting interdependence fosters a culture of safety, while actively identifying and mitigating hazards to protect the workforce and environment.
Compliance and Standards: Your adherence to HSE standards and quality procedures will safeguard the workplace and ensure regulatory compliance.
Quality Assurance: Perform quality checks to identify issues, minimize costs, and ensure customers receive undamaged and conforming goods.
Space Optimization: By organizing incoming goods and arranging storage effectively, you'll make efficient use of warehouse space and improve overall productivity.
Customer Satisfaction: Operating equipment to meet customer expectations with precision and efficiency will play a key role in achieving delivery goals.
Team Collaboration: Your effective communication and commitment to training completion will strengthen teamwork and drive collective success.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Effective Inventory Management: Build proficiency in inventory control techniques to manage physical inventory accurately and efficiently, keeping customer expectations in focus.
Warehouse Tools & Methodologies: Gain mastery of warehouse operations by using tools and systems to meet key metrics for inbound and outbound activities.
Problem-Solving Capabilities: Be prepared to identify challenges and proactively address them, whether they arise in inventory discrepancies or transportation methods.
Commitment to Continuous Improvement: Stay open to learning new strategies and seek ways to enhance operational efficiency, compliance, and team collaboration.
Clear Communication Skills: Cultivate effective communication to collaborate with teammates and support staff, ensuring smooth workflows and shared goals.
Education/Experience:
High school diploma or certificate of completion of secondary education or equivalent experience to the extent such experience meets applicable regulations.
A two-year University degree from an accredited program in Business, Engineering or a relevant field of study preferred.
This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations.
Requires significant relevant work experience or specialized skills obtained through education, training or on-the-job experience in a related field such as logistics, warehousing and third-party logistics provider management.
QUALIFICATIONS

Process large volumes of orders. Maintain files and shipping records. Interact with other departments, customers, and freight companies. Investigate freight discrepancies - focus on problem-solving.
