Description
APPLE INC has the following available in Austin, Texas. Design and develop software for client - server based applications. Responsible for preparing functional specifications, analysis and gap tracking, design, implementation, testing and integration. Support quality assurance teams by analyzing and resolving defects found during the validation phases. Provide ongoing support for production, including investigating critical tickets, identifying and assessing the root causes, and following that with workarounds and solutions. Drive continuous enhancement initiatives in different aspects of software development such as performance, efficiency, integration, automation, monitoring, documentation, etc. Grow software knowledge by learning development tools in order to utilize them in current and future projects. 40 hours/week.
Minimum Qualifications
Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science or related field and 2 years of experience in the job offered or related occupation.
2 years of experience with each of the following skills is required:
Using Spring Boot to design and develop application servers.
Using Database Technologies, including Oracle and Redis, to model and persist domain.
Using Kafka for asynchronous messaging and data processing.
Developing micro services for domain management and faster delivery.
Automating and developing in a cloud environment such as AWS, Azure, GCP etc.
Using Kubernetes to manage and deploy services.
Utilizing Performance Test Tools, including JMeter, to visualize, analyze and improve performance.
Using Splunk to monitor and analyze application issues.
