As part of our Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) team, you’ll help design, develop, and implement security measures for our Source Control, Artifact, and Deployment systems. Your primary focus will be on enhancing the security and resilience of our SDLC tools within Apple.

Description

We are looking for an experienced Software Developer with a strong security background to join our SDLC Security team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in designing, implementing, and managing secure software systems, with a specific focus on source control, artifact repositories, and deployment pipelines. Your role will be crucial in protecting our sensitive code and ensuring the integrity of our software development processes.
* Security Architecture: Design, develop, and maintain secure architectures for source control systems, ensuring robust security measures, scalability, performance, and reliability.
* Compliance: Ensure adherence to security standards and regulations (e.g., SOX, PCI, NIST) related to software development and code management.
* Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including development, operations, and security, to implement secure practices throughout the SDLC.
* Documentation: Create comprehensive documentation on security best practices, guidelines, and procedures for SDLC tools and processes.

Minimum Qualifications

  • 10+ years of relevant experience in systems architecture and development with a strong security focus.

  • Knowledge of build, containerization, orchestration and deployment tools.

  • Programming skills in scripting or programming languages like Python, Java, Go.

  • Bachelors of Science

Pay & Benefits

At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $166,600 and $296,300, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
