Job Description

We are seeking an experienced IGA Engineer with deep expertise in the Saviynt Enterprise Identity Cloud (EIC) platform to join our Identity and Access Management team. This role will work closely with the IGA Product Owner to design, implement, and maintain our identity governance infrastructure, ensuring secure and compliant access management across the enterprise.

This is a hybrid role base in Lake County, IL

Responsibilities

Platform Management & Engineering

  • Design, configure, and maintain the Saviynt EIC platform to support identity lifecycle management, access governance, and compliance requirements

  • Develop and maintain integrations between Saviynt and enterprise applications using out-of-box connectors, REST APIs, and custom connection configurations

  • Create and optimize business logic using Saviynt's rule-based framework, including dynamic attributes, email templates, and workflow customizations

  • Build and maintain automated provisioning and de-provisioning workflows for user accounts across multiple systems

  • Configure and manage access request workflows, approval chains, and segregation of duties (SoD) rules

Access Governance & Compliance

  • Implement and maintain access certification campaigns for user access reviews, role reviews, and privileged access attestations

  • Configure analytics and reporting dashboards to provide visibility into access patterns, compliance metrics, and security risks

  • Design and implement role-based access control (RBAC) models and role mining strategies

  • Support audit requirements by maintaining comprehensive audit trails and generating compliance reports

  • Monitor and remediate access violations, orphaned accounts, and policy exceptions

Technical Integration & Development

  • Develop REST API commands to extend Saviynt Functionality

  • Create and maintain technical documentation including design specifications, runbooks, and operational procedures

  • Troubleshoot complex integration issues and work with Saviynt support to resolve platform defects

  • Implement security controls and best practices for the Saviynt platform

  • Perform platform upgrades, patches, and maintenance activities with minimal business disruption

Collaboration & Support

  • Partner with application owners and business stakeholders to onboard applications to the Saviynt platform

  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members

  • Participate in incident response and problem management for IGA-related issues

  • Collaborate with IAM architects on platform roadmap and enhancement initiatives

  • Support governance processes including access reviews, policy development, and risk assessments

Qualifications

Required:

Technical Skills

  • Bachelor’s Degree with 5 years of relevant experience, Master’s Degree plus 4 years of relevant experience.

  • 3+ years of hands-on experience with Saviynt Enterprise Identity Cloud (EIC) platform

  • Strong understanding of identity lifecycle management, access governance, and compliance frameworks

  • Proficiency in SQL, database concepts, and data modeling

  • Experience with REST APIs, JSON, and web services integration

  • Knowledge of authentication protocols (SAML, OAuth, LDAP, Active Directory)

  • Understanding of regulatory compliance requirements (SOX, GDPR, HIPAA, etc.)

Professional Skills

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities

  • Excellent communication skills with ability to translate technical concepts for business audiences

  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently

  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality

Preferred:

  • Saviynt certification (Saviynt Certified Administrator or Engineer)

  • Background in IT security, audit, or risk management

Salary: $82,500 - $157,500
