Job Description

A Supply Chain and Procurement Architect is a Senior-Level IT professional responsible for establishing and driving the technology strategy and vision that enables optimized Supply Chain and Procurement processes. This role focuses on developing comprehensive technology roadmaps, evaluating and selecting appropriate technologies, and ensuring alignment of IT capabilities with business objectives. This Senior IT leader role brings deep technical expertise and a holistic, long-term outlook on technology, proactively addressing challenges and leveraging opportunities to deliver business value within Supply Chain and Procurement functions.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and communicate a clear technology vision and strategy for Supply Chain and Procurement, aligned with business goals.

  • Create and maintain technology roadmaps supporting supply chain and procurement transformation.

  • Evaluate and select appropriate supply chain and procurement systems, platforms, and integration technologies.

  • Design conceptual and logical system architectures that effectively address complex business requirements for supply and procurement processes.

  • Collaborate with business and IT stakeholders to develop, align, and sustain the technology vision and its supporting roadmaps.

  • Ensure IT governance, compliance, and security best practices are applied within the architectural domain.

  • Develop and maintain business and technology capability models for Supply Chain and Procurement.

  • Identify and define system interfaces, capability requirements, and continuous improvement opportunities.

  • Review designs and support the Solution Lifecycle (SLC) process, ensuring architectural standards are met.

  • Mentor and coach team members, fostering knowledge sharing and skill development across the Supply Chain and Procurement technology community.

  • Guide and advocate for current architectural standards, guidelines, and trends across Business Technology Solutions (BTS) and the broader organization.

  • Communicate complex technical solutions in a clear and accessible manner to engineers, analysts, and business leaders.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree + 10 years’ experience, Master’s Degree + 9 years’ experience or PhD with 5 years’ experience in computer science or related field.

  • Industry & Supply Chain and Procurement experience, with a focus across various Supply Chain and Procurement modules.

  • Experience leading large-scale, complex Supply Chain and Procurement Transformations (Ex: Upgrades, Migrations, Implementations, etc.)

  • Strong proficiency in Supply Chain and Procurement and Emerging Technologies relevant to development technology experience.

  • Proven experience as a Supply Chain and Procurement architect.

  • Demonstrated strong partnership & collaboration skills managing internal & external stakeholders.

  • Demonstrated high level of business understanding & financial acumen.

  • Proven experience presenting & communicating (both written & verbal) with Sr/Executive Leadership.
