Apple’s worldwide Retail Engagement, Marketing and Merchandising (REMM) team creates and delivers programs, campaigns, initiatives, and experiences that help Apple Retail’s customers and teams discover, buy, and go further with Apple products and services. These efforts increase awareness, drive conversion, and grow affinity for Apple.
Description
We are seeking a Business Operations Analyst who is analytical, strategic, and operationally minded to support strategic decision-making and drive performance and optimization across the organization. This role will be responsible for analyzing data, identifying trends, generating insights, and translating those insights into actionable recommendations. The ideal candidate will also identify and evaluate new business opportunities, develop business cases, and provide data-driven support to inform leadership decisions.
Responsibilities
Performance Measurement & Insights
-Establish cohesive measurement and reporting on the impact of REMM’s programs — including customer experiences, internal communications, learning and development, merchandising, and marketing campaigns.
-Partner closely with Analytics teams to collect, analyze, and interpret complex datasets related to operations, performance, and financials.
-Develop dashboards and reporting tools to track KPIs and translate data into actionable insights for stakeholders.
-Support process improvement by implementing and monitoring the impact of operational changes and measure improvements.
Business Development & Planning
-Partner with REMM leaders and program teams to identify, asses, and advance new business opportunities.
-Conduct qualitative and quantitative analyses to assess the viability and impact of new tools, processes, and programs.
-Develop business cases, financial forecasts, and ROI models to support executive decision-making and prioritize initiatives aligned with Retail and Apple’s strategy.
-Participate in annual planning and long-term strategic initiatives.
WW Accessories
-Support the global Retail accessories category — including Apple-branded, Beats, and third-party products.
-Create a cross-functional management system for assortment optimization, performance, and business opportunity identification and assessment.
-Partner on strategy development and drive business cases and analyses related to new opportunities.
-Drive rhythm of the business activities including business reviews, dashboards and reporting.
-Drive executive level updates across a breadth of topics.
Minimum Qualifications
5+ years in strategic finance, business development or business operations role
Bachelors degree or equivalent experience
Preferred Qualifications
5+ years of experience in a strategic finance, business development or business operations role across the Retail or Tech sector.
Proven track record of handling complex/multi-faceted projects, delivering on important metrics to drive impact for the company.
Passion for continuous improvement and operational excellence. Ability to identify and act upon improvement opportunities while balancing financial impact with customer and employee impact.
Ability to think strategically on critical business issues, while simultaneously possessing the ability to act tactically to execute against them.
Ability to build trust, relationships and an effective network cross-functionally and globally; understands the organization to create alignment across a matrixed organization. Strong influencing skills—able to lead without authority.
Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.
Deals well with ambiguity and comfortable navigating complex operational processes across a large organization.
Excellent oral and written communication skills, including executive level presentations
Highly organized, self-directed, and execution-oriented.
Pay & Benefits
At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $137,900 and $263,100, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
