Marcom's Creative Technology Group is a research and development studio, prototyping forward-thinking experiences that leverage emerging technologies to advance Apple’s global marketing communications. This nimble, multi-disciplinary team of creative technologists, artists and designers works together to drive innovation in evolving fields such as spatial and generative computing. We partner with teams across the company to evolve how we work with emerging technologies to improve our internal workflows and customer facing experiences.
Description
The Sr. Manager leads teams of creative technologists responsible for developing technology that drives innovation in interactive experiences across platforms, including web, native, spatial, and generative AI.
As a senior leader, they drive strategic initiatives across the organization while remaining deep in the detail of the teams' research, prototyping, and technical exploration. They contribute to the AI strategy for Marcom, building and scaling teams, and fostering partnerships to accelerate the adoption of emerging technologies. Their visionary leadership and technical expertise inspires the team and others across Marcom to push the boundaries of what's possible with AI and emerging technologies.
Minimum Qualifications
At least 10 years experience in creative tech/ R&D environment, with an emphasis in implementing emerging technologies.
Experience leading teams within a creative agency or dynamic, tech-driven environment.
Demonstrated success in strategic planning and organizational leadership.
A diverse portfolio showing skill in web and native Apple platform development, including projects using generative AI.
Ability to rapidly adapt and implement new technologies in service of project goals.
Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to build trust and influence while advocating for your ideas.
Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Computer Science, or a related field.
Preferred Qualifications
Record of leading large-scale, cross-functional initiatives with the ability to guide, evaluate, and redirect creative and technical development when necessary.
Ability to create hi-fidelity interactive prototypes and think through complex interaction design.
Ability to cut through ambiguity and find a path forward, despite uncertainty or challenges.
Deep subject matter technical expert, paired with high level of curiosity and eagerness to learn.
Proficiency in Python and familiarity with ML tooling such as PyTorch, MLX or TensorFlow.
Hands-on experience fine-tuning, debugging and optimizing model performance through experimentation.
Experience building frameworks around models to apply AI solutions to specific problems.
Experience in executive-level communication and influence, with the ability to drive organizational transformation through technology adoption.
Diligent, flexible, resourceful, and independent with a strong work ethic and organizational skills.
Pay & Benefits
At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $262,500 and $393,800, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
