Description

The Ad Delivery team designs and builds best of breed systems for dealing with our complex and ever-growing platform needs that help deliver highly optimized advertising content to consumers. This manager role will lead of team of experienced engineers who are specializing in Indexing and Searching at scale using cloud based technologies to return results within milliseconds going through terabytes of data. The team is directly responsible for systems that are used by thousands of advertisers, publishers and developers and has high visibility in the mobile advertising space. We are looking for a results-oriented and versatile leader who can excel in an Agile environment.

Minimum Qualifications

  • 10+ years of industry experience building scalable micro services and data driven platforms.

  • 5+ years management experience.

  • Expertise in object oriented software development with a deep understanding of scalable indexing solutions systems like Solr, Elastisearch.

  • Strong technical leadership skill, proven experience architecting, developing and deploying internet-scale, distributed and critical services.

  • Ability to communicate effectively, both written and verbal, with technical and non-technical multi-functional teams.

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science or equivalent is required Master’s degree preferred

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior experience in advertising industry

  • Experience working on complex problems and real-time systems where every millisecond counts.

  • A desire to work in a fast-paced and challenging work environment.

  • Experience building AI/ML Platforms and A/B Testing is helpful.

Pay & Benefits

At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $198,300 and $342,800, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
