Description

APPLE INC has the following available in Cupertino, California and various unanticipated locations throughout the USA. Develop and deliver server-based solutions in payment processing and tokenization for the Apple Pay organization using Java and J2EE-related technologies. Work cross-functionally with product and development teams to study product requirements, create and implement elaborate automation plans. Write and maintain test cases for functional testing of payment processing and customer servicing features. Monitor the health of these features by continuously running test automation. Monitor and maintain RESTful endpoints performance and scalability. In order to troubleshoot and resolve API issues timely and efficiently, continuously investigate automation failures and collaborate with stakeholders. Perform "continuous integration / continuous deployment" activities (CI/CD) to release the product with the highest quality and efficiency. Solve technical, integration, and regression issues to ensure zero-bug production releases and make release process error-prone and swift. Develop and implement test automation framework for Apple Pay products. Maintain automation infrastructure to ensure testing tools and environments are functioning seamlessly. 40 hours/week. At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $175,800 - $264,200/yr and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field.

  • Education and/or experience must include each of the following skills:

  • Object-oriented programming and design experience, including Java

  • Relational database systems and expert SQL scripting

  • Providing and consuming RESTful web services and JSON

  • Building test automation tools and frameworks including TestNG

  • Utilizing CI/CD pipelines for performing rigorous testing on software builds

  • Building and designing APIs with deep knowledge of HTTP protocol and methods

  • Building and collaborating projects via distributed version control system including GIT

  • Organizing and reviewing test plans among cross product and cross functional teams

  • Identifying and solving problems that arise during software development and testing lifecycle including performance issues
