American Express’ Global Commercial Services (GCS) business offers a wide range of card and payment programs, expense management tools, consulting services, business financing and cross-border payments solutions to small businesses, mid-sized companies and large corporations around the world.?
The B2B Solutions Product Management team is part of the broader Corporate and B2B Solutions Product Management team within GCS Products. As our customers are changing the way they work and pay, we are evolving with them by developing flexible B2B payment constructs and automated payment solutions that seamlessly coordinate into customer ecosystems. The B2B Solutions team is focused on providing flexible and digital financing solutions, value propositions, and go-to-market plans that address all customer segments.? This business has doubled in customers and volume over the last few years and requires focused attention on customer experience management and overall roadmap prioritization and planning.
As such, the Senior Manager, B2B Product Management & Strategy, will play a critical role to lead the next phase of innovation and growth across the B2B ecosystem, partnering with teams across Corporate and B2B Product Management and the broader organization to drive portfolio growth objectives. This is an opportunity for a driven, independent and customer-centric individual who wants to use their expertise in product strategy to drive best in class payment offerings and user experiences. ?
Key Roles and Responsibilities include:
Articulate the overall B2B near and medium-term strategy to optimize performance and growth potential across payment capabilities and digital solutions; Develop presentations for various internal and external leadership audiences
Socialize the strategy to elevate awareness and excitement for B2B more broadly across the organization; Partner with Field and Marketing to create and distribute a B2B value story inclusive of our core and emerging solutions
Partner with Field and analytics teams to drive conversion of a unified client pipeline across B2B solutions suite
Serve as program management office for key strategic initiatives – creating standardized processes for project updates, go-to-market activities, and customer feedback collection
Support development of long-term business/financial plans and annual investment plans; Ensure B2B product roadmaps support the short and medium-term strategies
Minimum Qualifications:
Experience and track record of delivering results in a previous product management, strategy, or management consulting role
Excellent visual and verbal communication skills, ?with comfort presenting to senior audiences
Highly organized – great at documenting learnings? and synthesizing complex inputs into clear recommendations
Entrepreneurial spirit, thrives in fast-paced environment with a bias for action, gets stuff done
Ability to effectively connect the dots across initiative owners and stakeholder groups, considering multiple points of view to present accurate results and updates
Positive, flexible and proactive attitude
Bachelor's degree required
Preferred Qualifications:
Master's degree
Knowledge of B2B Payments, procure-to-pay solutions, and broader trends in the rapidly evolving commercial payments space
Qualifications
Salary Range: $90,000.00 to $165,000.00 annually bonus benefits
