This is an exciting opportunity for a Site Support Team Lead in Rocky Mount, NC.

 

 

 

The ideal candidate would be responsible for the management, operations, delivery and support of defined IT applications and/or infrastructure services by directing and coordinating people to accomplish goals and objectives using available resources, including the deployment, administration, and development of human, financial, and technical resources. This role contributes to the delivery, support and maintenance of IT services ensuring that tools and resources are available and functioning (i.e. IT Service Catalog, Asset Management system). A strong candidate is able to generate and report on service delivery metrics and drive standards across regions and locations, being the point of contact for customers and maintaining relationships with key customer and suppliers. A well-qualified candidate possesses the capability to conduct and encourage root cause analysis, championing Six Sigma to improve on current processes; is able to maintain the accuracy of service related standards, procedure and work instructions in a knowledge management system, and provide support to Service Owner when needed.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 Experience

 

 

 

  • Intermediate level of relevant work experience required. 3-5 years of experience.
  •                
  • This position is accountable for the daily oversight of client and network components of CBS IT Infrastructure support at the Rocky Mount Engine Plant. 
  •                
  • This role provides site LAN support, Manufacturing client support, printer support, and Cummins Global Desktop maintenance and delivery support. Furthermore, the position will be accountable for troubleshooting and monitoring network performance, patching, coordination and upgrades to network equipment, planning and implementing ACL's and VLAN's, and RMEP manufacturing IT asset modernization.
  •                
  • Incumbent will partner with BU IT and plant operations for identifying improvements, infrastructure planning, and problem resolution. Work closely with all CBS IT services to ensure work aligns with standard practices. Responsible for leading a team of contract and supplier resources to carry out support activities.
  •                
  • Due to the nature of the work, the position must be located full time at RMEP, Rocky Mount, NC.

Base salary rate commensurate with experience.
